LPG Reserve Tankers of the Refinery of Phase 19 of South Pars Was Commissioned

Simultaneous reserve of 4 tankers of Propane and Butane (LPG) of Phase 19 of South Pars was initiated by Petorpars Iran.
A report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs of Petropars Group reads that upon performing the drying and de-oxygenization of the said tankers, beginning as of July 25 and 26, 2019 (Mordad 03, 1398) operations for injection of gas into Butane tankers and the operations for injection of gas into 2 Propane tankers were successfully accomplished.
At the time when the Project for development of Phase 19 of South Pars was inaugurated, the then Managing Director of the National Iranian oil Company (NIOC) stated, “Based on three indicators for any project management, which include “time, quality and cost”, the Project for development of Phase 19 of South Pars was the most successful Project accomplished in 35 months by the NIOC. 
The Project for development of Phase 19 of South Pars was the first national mega project which was completed without the presence of foreign companies and which only relied on domestic Iranian competences and capabilities. Further, the operations for the fabrication and commissioning of tankers of Propane and Butane (LPG) were performed utilizing the local and Iranian knowledge of the expert workforce of Petropars Iran as well as that of POMC.
It should be noted that upon commissioning of the said tankers the reservation capacity of exportation of Butane and Propane will increase by 70,000 and 90,000 cubic meters respectively.
