Managing Director of Petropars Group said: with the beginning of the construction of equipment foundations and pipe racks, Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP) of South Azadegan oil field was put on the development path.

According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of Petropars Group; Mr Masoudi said: despite the coronavirus outbreak and its restrictions, the engineering department has made more than 62% physical progress so far.

He stated that 65% of the documents for ordering goods and equipment for this project have been finalized so far, adding that the order for 11 items of goods and equipment for the project has been concluded so far and their pre-construction operations have begun.

Mr Masoudi added: In the executive operations department, the piling contractor has started its work as the first executive contractor of Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP) of South Azadegan oil field the requirement of other executive activities has started its work and so far more than 35% of the required piles have been constructed and more than 25% of the piles have been carried out at the site of the project. Also, along with pile-up activities, excavation operations and construction of foundations of late delivery equipment are also underway quickly.

He added: Currently, over 270 people are working in the project workshop, more than 77% of whom are natives.

Managing Director of Petropars Group also announced the holding of a tender and selection of a contractor for the construction of industrial and non-industrial buildings, construction of tanks and construction and installation of steel structures and said: the relevant contractors will start their work soon.

In the end, Mr. Masoudi emphasized on supporting domestic production and manufacturing capacity and said: "So far, 26 contracts concluded in this project have all been concluded with consultants, suppliers of goods and equipment and domestic executive contractors, and efforts are being made to The project should be done according to the law of maximum use of the country's production and service capacity and protection of Iranian goods.
