Dr. Seyyed Shams-o-din Mousavi, the new CEO of Petropars, considers this corporation a very strong and valuable capacity for the upstream, midstream, and downstream areas of the country and also one of the best E & P companies in general.

According to the report of public relations and international affairs of Petropars group, in his introduction ceremony which was held at Dey 25th, which was attended by Dr. Khojastemehr, CEO of Iran's national oil company and its subsidiaries' CEOs, Dr. Mousavi thanked the previous CEO and stated: change in management is like a relay race where each person takes up a portion of the path based on his skills, and everybody has the intention of reaching the same goal.
He explained his main priorities in Petropars: because we have several infrastructure projects in joint gas and oil fields, our primary and most important approach will be removing obstacles and difficulties in the implementation of two major projects, the development of phase 11 of the South Pars joint gas field and the development of the South Azadegan joint oil field.
CEO of Petropars, referring to his plan for the implementation of corporate governance in Petropars as the main basis for organizational growth and excellence, stated: in the structure of corporate governance, three principles of internal control system, performance evaluation system and integrated information technology system are of importance, which all lead to the organizational architecture.
Dr. Mousavi went on by emphasizing the role of human resources in the implementation of this plan: all these approaches and structures have the same key, which is human resources; meaning that if human resources act with an innovative, thought-oriented and teachable approach to promote both themselves and the organization, the approach by this corporate system around the four topics of transparency, accountability, total observance of the rules and observance of the executive stakeholder interests can be certainly implemented and achieved.
