Farzad Gas Fields Development (IPC)
FARZAD Gas Fields are located 15 km from Farsi Island in the Farsi block in Iran-Saudi Arabia border line. The offshore facilities are also located approximately 110 km from the coastal line and 120 km from Bushehr.
Due to fractured and faulted geology, reservoir gas composition, high temperature, high pressure and complexity of drilling operation in comparison with South Pars Gas Field, development of FARZAD Gas Fields is very challenging. Managing FARZAD Gas Fields development as MC contract was assigned to Petropars by the National Iranian Oil Company on June 6, 2017. This project consists of management services required for Subsurface Conceptual Design, Surface Conceptual Study, Basic Design, preparing of ITB packages for EPCF sub-projects as well as the drilling of two appraisal wells.
